How To Plan The Perfect Stag Night

Here are a few questions we would recommend you ask yourself before you decide on anything for your Stag do:

Stag Weekends are events that require a fair number of people to get them going but invite too many and the stag group will splinter. We recommend inviting as many of the Groom’s good mates as possible whilst really cutting down the number of acquaintances. Anywhere between eight and 20 people attending a Stag Night is a good number, however, this will really depend on how many good mates the groom has.

A Stag Night the night before the wedding is a really bad idea…this much, we presume, you’ve either figured out or have had clearly spelled out for you. A Stag Do anywhere from 2 – 5 weeks before the actual wedding is fine.

We would recommend that the Stag Do is less of a Stag Night and more of a Stag Weekend. This will give you time to really get in to the Stag Night party spirit.

We would also suggest that you and the boys do your partying away from home (for obvious reasons) and try to incorporate daytime activities (so that you don’t get too drunk) in to your Stag Weekend.

As you may be aware by now not all locations are great for Stag Weekends. Don’t settle for second best on your Stag Night!

Ideally start getting numbers together 5 months before the Stag Night and start collecting money ASAP (once you’ve decided who to invite and where to go) otherwise you’ll find that a load of people drop out from the Stag night at the last minute.
