Whistler has a very international feel to it with its abundance of Australian, Japanese ands European visitors. It has great skiing and caters for all abilities.

It has been voted the number 1 resort in North America because it offers such appealing features for a Skiing holiday. These include good accommodation, beautiful scenery, great skiing for beginners to the very advanced, handy lift systems and fantastic après ski!

The weather in Whistler is not always up to scratch so they possess many snow-making cannons which help dramatically with the standard of the snow. Since it's not a very high resort, it can often be raining at resort level even when it is snowing higher up.

Ski school is available for all standards of skiing. They have three levels for Snowboarders. These are blue, black and double black. The blue area is rather small so the majority of people are usually inclined to go to the black level where they have many features on offer. These are rails, picnic tables, banks, spines and huge rollers. It also has a small half pipe and a larger 12 foot super pipe.

Whistlers' pedestrianised town possesses many great restaurants, which appeal to anything from families to people who prefer the finer things in life. There is also the option of trying something different with Mongolian and Japanese food.

The après ski in Whistler is very impressive. Some of the best bars are said to be The Amsterdam, Tommy Africa's nightclub, Savage Beagle nightclub, Merlin's and Longhorn.
