Snowboarding -Verbier has been rated 'Best of the Best' in 3 categories for off-piste skiing, advanced skiers and après ski. There is plenty for non-skiers to keep themselves occupied. It has many Cafes, bars, restaurants and sport centres so is ideal for families too. It is famous for its vibrant nightlife and excellent skiing.
The four valleys offer great Skiing. It is suitable for beginners to the more experienced skier. There are 400km of pistes and over 100 lifts. There is also a halfpipe and obstacles at Mont Fort (for year round skiing) and La Chaux, which is ideal for Snowboarders!
In the past, queue waiting times have been considerably long, so facilities have been added to help with this queuing. The opening of the gondola has helped towards this. Also new in, is the Nord chair lift, which has 6 seats and is detachable. Added to the FuniSpace facility are four new cabins, which have increased passenger flow by 25%.
