Snowboarders have only recently been made welcome and catered for in St Anton, but there is a great variety for them now. There is a big ski area, improving lifts and lots of snowmaking facilities, which results in good snow.

The 'Alberg Ski' pass allows you to take the shuttle bus and sample the great on and off-piste runs at neighbouring resorts Lech and Zurs, which are situated approximately half an hour away from St Anton but well worth a visit.

St Antons neighbouring village is St Christoph which is a popular venue for lunch as it is connected by ski runs and lifts so is easily accessible from St Anton.

There are a few mountain restaurants and bars in St Anton. Some of these are perfect for international dishes and Austrian specialities, others are more popular for refreshments at the end of the day.

The après ski is great in St Anton. The town atmosphere is lively and holds a young and attractive crowd. It has some vibrant bars, which include The Kandahar, Kartouche and The Hacienda.

A lot of the chalet accommodation is located in the Nasserein area, 5 minutes away from the pedestrianised area.
