Cervinia is a known for the quality of its snow. Because of its high altitude, the snow is usually guaranteed excellent. This resort is catered for the more laid back skier or beginner. It does not really cater for the more advanced, extreme sportsperson! Cervinia is also great resort for intermediate skiers

Snowboarding -In Cervinia there is a village nursery slope for the beginners to practise on and once they feel more confident, they can venture out and experience the more intermediate skiing.
The mountain is particularly good for intermediate skiers and they should feel confident enough skiing over most of it as it does not really cater for the more advanced. Advanced skiers would benefit more from skiing on the runs down towards Valtournenche.
Cervinia has links with Zermatt in Switzerland, which results in a vast skiing area, although it is regarded as being more useful to those staying in Zermatt as it offers a pleasant journey into Italy for Lunch.

It does not offer catered chalets but most of the accommodation is apartment or hotel based.
Cervinia is a pedestrianised resort with numerous small Italian boutiques, restaurants and bars located around the centre, this makes the après ski so appealing and lively. Some of the clubs even have minibuses that will drop you off at your accommodation at the end of the night.
We think that in terms of WOW Factor, Cervinia is the best that Italy has to offer.. Well worth a trip!
