Baskerville Hall, a regenrated mansion, is the venue for all our Hen weekends, set in over 130 acres of picturesque Welsh countryside overlooking the River Wye and the Brecon Beacons National Park and built in 1839 by Thomas Mynors Baskerville. The staff and locals of the Hall are very welcoming and ensure every detail of your Hen weekend is well catered for. Arthur Conan Doyle was a family friend who often came to stay here. During his many visits he learnt of the local legend of “The Hounds of the Baskervilles”. It’s widely reputed that on nearby Hergest Ridge he translated this into agueably the most notorious case for his famous detective Sherlock Holmes.
