Enjoy a fabulous WOW Weekend in the world famous coastal town of Newquay.

Renowned for its excellent surfing, paragliding, go karts, candy floss and poseurs, it really is the place to be in the summer.

The town itself is dominated with literally hundreds of hotels and B&B’s, gift shops and take away restaurants eager to cater for the annual army of visitors.

The resort caters for a broad range of visitors and high summer is a predominant period for the majority of visitor from the world over who make full use of the excellent beaches during the day in this lively resort, and we do mean lively as the towns many pubs and clubs become almost overpopulated at night ensuring Newquay keeps up its ever growing status of “Cornwall’s party Capital”.

A short drive from the town is a world apart, the spectacular cliffs of the North Cornwall coast, small picturesque fishing villages and many remote unspoilt beaches are just minutes away.

Transport links have recently been boosted by daily flights to the town from London Stanstead taking less than an hour. By train the journey takes 5-8 hours.

Thers are lots of shops and things to do in this bustling little corner of Cornwall.

Here at WOW Weekends we choose our accommodation very carefully to ensure our customers have the best weekend possible.

We use a selection of tried and tested Independent Hotels (2 Star Equivalent), the bedrooms are twins with en suite bathrooms and furnished to a high standard.

Cooked breakfast is supplied on both mornings and a late bar is also available to residents.

Details: Overlooking Perranporth this seaside links course is situated 6 miles outside Newquay and offers a very challenging round of golf. The surrounding views of the Atlantic are truly stunning but don’t get caught over awed by the sights because there are a lot of blind tee shots and positional play is everything. Be sure not to stray into the rough or you will be in serious trouble.

Details: Rolling fairways on this seaside course make it a lot tougher than it initially looks. Natural hazards, sloping greens and extremely well placed bunkers make sure a challenge is laid down to all standard of golfer. Another course that offers some amazing views and an absolute delight to play on.

Details: Kept in excellent condition the whole year through this course is becoming ever more increasingly popular. A Championship course with varying degrees of difficulty it is extremely appealing to the professional and highly handicapped player. With well positioned bunkers, a tortuous stream and wind that also plays a major factor a good test of your golfing abilities is sure to be had here.

Details: This seaside 18 hole par 3 course offers many demanding tests of your ability. Sea breezes and water add to an already fine challenge. It provides the perfect opportunity to golfers looking to practise there iron play, with fine surrounding views and excellent facilities.
