Enjoy a superb WOW Weekend in the historic city of Lincoln.
This wonderful old City is stepped in heritage and history from the Iron Age, Norman invasion, Black Death and English civil war.
There are hoards of local attractions including the Cathedral, Castle, Medieval Bishops Old Palace, Ellis Mill, The Mary Gordon, Jews House, Roman Remains, Guildhall and Victorian Theatre Royal to name but a few.
The local pubs and clubs are buzzing with a broad spectrum of music from jazz, country, folk and rock.
The City Centre comes alive when the sun goes down and as Lincoln offers an array of traditional and modern pubs and bars, excellent restaurants and vibrant nightclubs there’s no excuse not to party the night away.
Here at WOW Weekends we choose our accommodation very carefully to ensure our customers have the best weekend possible.
We use a selection of tried and tested 3 Star Hotels, the bedrooms are twins with en suite bathrooms and furnished to a high standard.
Cooked breakfast is supplied on both mornings and a late bar is also available to residents.

Details: Boasting some very tough holes this attractive parkland course will test every aspect of your golfing ability. An accurate drive will be required on the tree lined fairways and long par 3’s. The well kept greens will definitely challenge your ability to shoot a low score. With accompanying fine views over Lincoln Cathedral, a very pleasing round of golf is sure to be had.
Club: Belton Woods Lakes / Woodside Golf Course

Yards: 6808 / 6605
Details: Very challenging holes on each of these two enjoyable 18 hole courses. The Lakes course is certainly not for a golfer afraid to go for his shots as it comprises of 13 lakes. At 613 yards the Woodside course boasts the third longest hole in Europe. An honestly exceptional day of golfing is to be had at these courses.

Details: This long and challenging inland course makes for an interesting round of golf, with undulating fairways and extremely tricky approach shots to well protected greens. This course will test players of all abilities and experience. Its very highly maintained and an absolute delight to play on.
Club: Gainsborough Golf Club – Thornock Park / Karsten Lakes
Par: 72/72
Yards: 6266 / 6721
Details: Original designed in 1894 and then redesigned in 1987 Thornock Park is a very attractive parkland course littered with deciduous trees. It provides complete test of your skills, slightly shorter but definitely not easier than Karsten. Designed by Neil Coles and opened in 1997 Karsten Lakes is a new championship course.

Details: With prevailing west winds that can add interest this beautiful parkland course is an absolute pleasure to play on. The tight fairways bordered by out of bounds are sure to test your accuracy as will the very challenging 5th which has a pond in front of the bunkered green. Lateral water hazards cross several fairways adding to the already very demanding challenge that awaits. An ideal course for golfers of all standards.
