Since becoming the country’s capital in 1955 the city more than lives up to the noble title, having undergone extensive redevelopment, it is now home to a world class opera house, some superb museums, excellent sporting venues and a vibrant nightlife that provides a wonderful opportunity for your group to party hard into the weekend.
Now one of the UK's most fashionable cities, Cardiff is definitely on the up, with plenty for visitors to see and do....but whatever you do... don't wear your England rugby shirt!

Details: A thoroughly challenging but fair test of golf is had on this parkland course that stretches over pictorial hills for the first nine. The back nine is a lot flatter but the first drive on this section is fairly hazardous, with a pond situated 280 yards from the tee on the 10th. Handicap is required for the excellent course.
Club: Glamorganshire Golf Course
Par: 70
Yards: 6181
Details: This course has a renowned reputation for its tricky par 3’s, a challenging parkland course with surging fairways and fun but demanding holes. Your short hand game will be tested to the full by the well guarded greens and the fine putting surfaces will ensure you have a grand round. The quality course is surrounded by some fine views and the clubhouse has excellent facilities.
Club: Mackintosh Golf Course/Button Golf Course

Details: Two very well designed and highly maintained courses set in rolling parkland and opened in 1996. The courses are lined with mature trees and surrounded by stunning views. A handicap certificate is required to play the courses and a challenging day of golf can be had by all standards of player.

Details: Accuracy and length is very beneficial on this parkland course that features numerous water hazards and many long demanding holes. For golfers looking to open the shoulders and practice their driving and long irons this id the ideal location. Excellent greens guarded by harsh bunkers will also ensure you don’t forget about your short game throughout the round either.
Club: Vale of Glamorgan Park Golf Course

Details: Home to the Welsh Golf Academy this course is a truly wonderful location to enjoy your game, set in 200 acres of splendid countryside with views over Hensol Park Lake and Castle. The lake course features towering trees, water on ten holes and numerous bunkers. An island green reached via a stone bridge on the 12th is the signature hole of the curse. The is also an excellent 9 hole course if you fancy a quick round to perfect your much needed skills.
