With a backdrop of the Sussex Downs and traditional English countryside, Brighton is a great base for exploring the region. Brighton's pubs range from small cozy Victorian front rooms, converted churches to large theme pubs housing every video game imaginable without a doubt there's a pub for every conceivable taste. Many pubs serve very good food, others stage live music, some even have karaoke but all serve great beer. If you like real ale Brighton is a paradise.

Here at WOW Weekends we choose our accommodation very carefully to ensure our customers have the best weekend possible.

We use a selection of tried and tested 3 Star Hotels, the bedrooms are twins with en suite bathrooms and furnished to a high standard.

Cooked breakfast is supplied on both mornings and a late bar is also available to residents.

Details: This course prides itself in its very friendly reputation and ensuring all visitors are welcome on the course and in the Clubhouse. The course itself is beautifully maintained and further expansion to the course currently being planned. The fairways are lush and the greens heavily protected by deep bunkers proving a challenge for every standard of player.

Club: Waterhall Golf Club

Details: This municipal course is a fairly short by modern standards but, being set in a deep valley in the South Downs just north of Brighton it has some delightfully scenic areas as well as several quite difficult holes that make it a true test of golf. For a serious game this certainly is the ideal place to play a round.

Club: Hollingbury Golf Course

Details: The actual course is one of the best in Sussex, regularly hosting a number of professional events. The best time to play is just prior to, or immediately after, one of the afore-mentioned events, when the course will have been brought to a high standard. It’s very well maintained the whole year through and an absolute delight to play on

Club: Dyke Golf Course
Par: 72

Details: This is an incredible, easily accessible golf course for the high to low handicaps. It presents a tremendous range of unique holes ranging from true American style 'target golf' to the more traditional British Links. A course that must be played if you're looking for a challenge along with a fantastic view across the British South-East coast.

Club: Singing Hills Golf Course – Lake, River & Valley
Par: 35/34/36
Yards: 3253/2826/3348
Details: Three tricky courses with plenty of variety in the holes, no fairway bunkers but the ponds and lakes are just as hazardous. There is very good off course facilities and plenty of wildlife to admire during the round. The greens are fantastic and very responsive to lines although sometimes difficult to read. Singing Hills very highly upheld and a real pleasure to play on.

Club: Haywards Heath Golf Course

Details: A very challenging parkland course considered to be one of the UK’s best. The demanding fairways will test every aspect of your ability and there are numerous hazards to make sure your club selection is spot on.
